NextOfKinConnect Vault is a secure, encrypted vault to store your personal information, financial details, contact details, and other important information. Your loved ones will be able to access this information when they need it most, making a difficult time easier for them.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To use NextOfKinConnect, you must create an account and provide information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of information you store and share
• Letting us know promptly if you experience any issues with your account

4. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is paramount to us. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• 256-bit encryption for all data transmission and storage
• Regular security audits and updates
• Limited access controls and monitoring

We also perform a yearly check-in via email to confirm you are still active. If we do not receive a response 60 days after the check-in email, we will initiate our verification/deactivation process.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use NextOfKinConnect to:

• Store or share illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

6. Subscription and Payment

NextOfKinConnect Vault is a one-time payment service:

• Vault Plan: $39.99 lifetime, includes all features and no recurring fees.
• Message to Loved One Vault Plan: $29.99 lifetime, includes a personal message that will be delivered to your loved ones after you pass.
• Viewer Plan: $4.99 one-time fee, for loved ones to access your vault.

Payments are processed securely through our payment partners Sripe https://stripe.com.

7. Data Sharing and Access

You maintain full control over your data and who can access it:

• You decide what information to share and with whom
• You can revoke access at any time
• All sharing activities are logged and monitored

8. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons. We will provide advance notice when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

NextOfKinConnect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may request to terminate your account at any time. Please note that you cannot export your data and once your account is deleted, all associated data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of NextOfKinConnect after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Hosting & Infrastructure

NextOfKinConnect operates entirely on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading global cloud provider. All data storage, processing, and backup systems are hosted in AWS data centers with strong physical and digital security controls. AWS infrastructure is certified under multiple industry standards, including ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3, and PCI DSS.
